Have You Considered Anesthesia?
At our office we often hear stories of childhood experiences at the dentist. Some are heart warming, such as the Muppets toothbrush that you still keep unopened in your
top drawer, or how your cavity-free smile is still posted in the waiting room. Others aren't as apt to provoke your winning smile. We can't blame you, the dental office
can be a confusing place in your youth: drills, clamps, needles!
Does the very mention of these words make you uneasy?
Try and remember your last visit to our office: we're certain that pain is low on the list of your recollections. Dentistry has come a long way in providing comfort and
a low stress environment for patients.
At our office, your comfort, health and safety are all priorities.
Comfort and Relaxation
Our office is designed with your comfort in mind. From our waiting room to the dental chair, no detail is too small insofar as your comfort is concerned. Our caring and
professional team is committed to creating a stress-free, relaxing environment for you throughout your visit.
Sedation
Being relaxed during your dental procedures allows the time to pass more freely. We understand that some patients need a little help becoming relaxed. Our office is
equipped with Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) which can help relax you during a range of dental procedures.
Topical Anesthetic
We understand that needles can be a cause of stress for our patients. A topical anesthetic can be used any time the surface of the gum needs to be numbed.
Local Anesthetic
Local anesthetics, in conjunction with effective topical anesthesia, have virtually eliminated the discomfort of numbing areas to be worked on. By using the proper amount
of anesthetics we ensure that your procedure is as comfortable as possible. Anesthesia should wear off shortly after you leave the office, so that you can continue on
with the rest of your day without the numb feeling, and, of course, the problem that was plaguing your tooth earlier.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding anesthesia, please ask our staff on your next visit. Remember, your comfort is our priority!
